As a chamber musician, Exline frequently performed with LADYBAND Chamber Winds in Minneapolis, Minnesota, an all-female chamber ensemble that performs new and underrepresented works.
Passionate about youth outreach in every respect, she currently works as an oboe teaching artist for Miami Music Project, an organization that is centered on eliminating financial and distance-related barriers for young students who want to learn music. Prior to this position, she worked as a rehearsal assistant for Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies, ensuring students had exactly what they needed through the duration of each rehearsal or concert. Exline is also a board-certified music therapist, who has hundreds of hours of experience teaching music lessons on various instruments to children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, genetic disorders, and intellectual disorders. As a professional, she is continuously striving to combine her skillsets as an oboist and a music therapist to make learning the oboe more accessible for marginalized communities, disabled communities, and rural communities, the likes of which she was raised in.

Exline earned her both of her Bachelor’s degrees in Oboe Performance and Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. As a music therapist, she completed her clinical training hours at Note-able Music Therapy Services of Minnesota. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Oboe Performance at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Her primary teachers are Christine Soojin Kim and Robert Weiner.
